25 weeks have passed, 26 starts today!

How far along: Today is the first day of week 26, so 25 weeks down!
What's new: Long weekend which meant lots of house projects (95% for Andy, 5% for Holly). One of the projects was the assembly of our new outdoor table and chairs. Andy was hammering away by 8 AM on Sunday (much to the neighbors delight). The set is a perfect fit for the deck and now we can eat dinner outside - just in time for crab season!

Geordie says: Yumm, crabs!

Holly Jean says: Yumm, ice cream after crabs!

24 weeks, going on 25

How far along: Today is the last day of week 24, also the last day of the second trimester.

What's new: Furniture for the nursery got ordered over the weekend. We've picked the Serenity line from Stanley Furniture. Also ordered an upholstered glider and ottoman for rocking the new baby.

Holly Jean says: Okay, this is big enough.

Geordie says: I think it's pretty much done.

23 weeks done!

How far along: End of week 23, tomorrow starts week 24.

What's new: Andy felt the baby move for the first time this week. Feeling great still but sitting or standing for too long starts to make my back ache just a little. Oh, and of course the first of the bare belly pictures this week!

Holly Jean says: Did you feel that?

Geordie says: The humanoid lives!

22 weeks, no question that's a baby bump...

How far along: Week 22 finished. The start of the belly growth photo chronicles.

What's new: In the last week marks the beginning of an undeniable baby bump. I saw the baby move just above my belly button this week for the first time. Andy hasn't seen or felt the baby move yet.

Geordie says: Shouldn't you be bigger than that by now?

Holly Jean says: Take that back.
