How far along: Final day of week 38, one week left until the big 40 (due date!)What's new: Braxton Hicks for sure! I've avoided most discomfort for the past nine months, but "practice" contractions have set in this week. At our last doctor's visit, the MD was betting on an August delivery - but you never know I could go two weeks after the due date (let's hope not folks)!
Total weight gain to date - 28lbs (or two stone for you Brits). I would have settled for less, but hey, I'm not complaining!
Oh, and how can I forget to mention...the baby has "dropped" into position (what do you think?). The change in the past few weeks has freed me to a little spicy food without the wrath of immediate heartburn. Oh yeah!
